This series features People of the Turtle Island Cooperative (PoTICo), highlighting their stories, art, and research.

Episode 2 introduces Ty Morrison, a sustainability architect at Boise State University. He is currently volunteering his time to help the Co-op with its Master Plan. His faith in our project and expert guidance has been continuous source of encouragement as we navigate these uncharted waters.

After so many difficult lessons in the form of complications and setbacks, we have finally submitted the Form 1023. Someone recently told us that this is the first big hurdle that separates the dreamers from the achievers. It truly was a test of our commitment, fortitude, and patience!

Thank you to the rest of the people making this all possible:

Kelsey Nunez – Attorney at Kelsey Jae Nunez LLC. Kelsey has been providing legal consultation every step of the way with the Form 1023.

Bethany Poythress – Bethany is heading up research and development of our donor packets, preparing them for our February campaign launch. .

Liz Tanons – Taking on the role and responsibilities of administrative assistant, Liz has made herself indispensible to the team.
Sammi Lowman – Graphic and Web Design. Sammi has been working almost every day on this website – and finally, we’re about ready to launch!
Matt Boxer and Gary Mitchell – Web and tech assistance. Without their advice and support working out technological bugs and setting up domains, as well as teaching Sammi the ways of WordPress, our site would not exist.
